Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith, has expressed his happiness over growing up in the company of adults instead of children of his age.
After the scary incident of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at Oscars 2022 last month, Will Smith has shared some words about his childhood. And he said in the Big Boy Radio interview that he is happy that he spent his growing years with adults.
Jaden added, “I’m happy that I spent my childhood with more adults than children of similar age because I was absorbing more from them than from other kids.”
Jaden clarified that he does enjoy having fun, but there are more important issues in the world to be concerned about.
“Can we talk about the state of the world now, especially when it comes to politics and economics? What’s going on with the environment? What else can we discuss? Don’t worry, I like to have a good time. I enjoy playing music loudly while jumping into the crowd in Atlanta, but I’m always looking for something new. ”
“I’m not satisfied with a party.”
On Twitter and other social media platforms, Jaden was ridiculed for his views.
“Jaden Smith informs every kid in a rec period that they have only 20 years to live because of global warming,” stated another.
While Jaden briefly discussed his childhood as the son of two celebrities, he didn’t mention the slap from the Academy Awards. After slapping Rock in the face for making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, Will has been banned from attending any Academy functions for ten years.
“And That’s How We Do It,” Jaden tweeted after the Oscars 2022 ceremony. Since the controversy, Jaden and his sister Willow Smith have continued with theirs.
Jaden and Willow have been performing at festivals, such as the Revolve Festival on the first weekend of Coachella.
