Chelsea Handler is in awe of her boyfriend “Jo Koy”. He’s a hero to her. She is ecstatic about discovering her love with Jo Koy. She has fully expressed her love for him on social media.
On Sunday, November 14, Handler, 46, posted a series of photographs with her boyfriend Jo Koy on Instagram captioned “Do you realize how hot it is to have a guy turned on by my honesty, strength, and self-assuredness?”
“Is there someone who finds it appealing that I won’t take anything from anyone and isn’t phased or emasculated by my aggressiveness?”
On Instagram, Chandler expressed that Jo has changed her thinking about love & men and restored her faith in men. In a recent Instagram post, she urged her followers not to give up hope of finding love.
“Don’t change who you are or make yourself smaller in order to find them because that’s not what love is about,” she advised. “Be patient and never accept anything less than you deserve.”
Koy and Handler had known each other for more than 15 years before beginning to date. From 2007 to 2014, the author of The Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo was a member of the cast on Chelsea Lately.
The pair reconnected when Handler needed a blurb for his new book, and the connection developed “naturally” from there, according to an episode of the “Dear Chelsea” podcast.
“I adore her, man. She’s fantastic. He’s a boss and a leader,” Koy said in October of his girlfriend.
“Nothing beats being in love with someone you’ve known for a long time.
“We’re here for each other, and we’ve always been there for one another. It feels good to finally find love and it’s with someone I’ve known for a long time.”
Following Handler’s gushing tribute on Sunday, Koy posted to his Instagram Story that he and his partner had been reunited. The two spend most weekends apart with their own standup comedy shows, but they rejoin during the week.
