According to a recent report, Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., and Rosario Dawson have split up.
According to People magazine, the two are no longer together but remain good friends. A source close to Booker confirmed to People that the two are not currently dating.
A source close to the situation told Fox News Digital that Booker and Dawson’s reps have not yet responded.
Booker and Dawson started dating in December 2018 after they met through a mutual friend’s party. In March 2019, TMZ stopped Dawson as she was boarding a flight at the Ronald Reagan National Airport, and she confirmed they were dating.
“I’m happy to be with someone I admire and respect and love,” added Dawson.
The two met at a party and didn’t immediately link up. Booker said the two had “hours and hours” of conversation, but he couldn’t figure out how to ask for her phone number.
“I was having trouble asking for her phone number,” Booker previously recalled to the Washington Post.
“I remember saying something really dumb like, ‘Uh, how would I contact you?’ And she gracefully responded with, on my insides were as, “Hell, yes!”
They later moved in together in October 2020, during the coronavirus epidemic.
“By the way, I’m actually relocating. I’m going to New Jersey. My family and I are moving to Newark,” Dawson informed The Washington Post.
“It’s time. We’ve been thinking about moving in together for a while, but especially during this time, it’s been very stressful.”
