John Mulaney and Anna Marie Tendler have finally divorced each other officially after five months of initiating the procedure.
On Thursday, January 6, the couple announced their divorce in New York City. According to court documents, they married in July of 2014 and divorced on Thursday, January 6th.
In 2010, Mulaney and Tendler started dating and married in July 2014 at the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York.
The pair confirmed their divorce to Us Weekly in May 2021, after six years of marriage.
His representative said, “John will not have any further comments since he is focused on his recovery and returning to work; rather than the fact that he was arrested for driving under the influence.”
“I’m devastated that John has chosen to divorce us. I wish him the best of luck and support as he continues his rehabilitation,” the artist added in her own statement following the split.
The two were dating after their relationship came to an end, according to Us. In June 2021, a source told the US Weekly that Mulaney thinks Munn is intelligent and makes him laugh as well. “They both have a very dry sense of humor,” the source added.
In July 2021, Mulaney moved on by filing for divorce from Tendler. He announced their pregnancy two months after that, saying he and Munn, 41, were expecting their first child.
“I’m not sure life will ever be the same, but Olivia and my son have helped me get through it,” he shared during his Late Night With Seth Meyers.
Amidst the flurry of pregnancy-related stories, she explained her connection with Mulaney.
On November 24, 2021, Munn gave birth to the couple’s baby boy. Tendler, eight days after learning she was expecting a baby, seemingly shaded Mulaney by captioning an Instagram photo of herself, “Norman F–king Rockwell,” as an apparent allusion to Lana Del Rey’s song of the same name.
The John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch alum announced his kid on Instagram in December 2021.
Tendler shared her thoughts on the recent changes in her life on New Year’s Eve through an Instagram post.
