Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck kicked off their pre-Valentine’s Day celebration with a trip to Super Bowl LVI, while her ex-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, also went to the game.
During the first half of the Cincinnati Bengals’ matchup with the Los Angeles Rams, many eagle-eyed spectators couldn’t take their eyes off Marry Me star and her beau, 49.
The video of Lopez and Affleck — whose rekindled romance first made headlines in May 2021 — dancing via NBC’s transmission of the big game was viewed by millions.
She wore a white button-down blouse and jeans with her huge sunglasses in this New York photo. Ben Affleck, for example, was standing next to his lady and wore a dark blue shirt.
Even as the game was going on, many Super Bowl viewers were more interested in Bennifer’s game-day appearance than what happened on the field for either the Bengals or the Rams.

Meanwhile, the 48-year-old former MLB player sat in a different section of the stadium. Rodriguez — who and Lopez called off their two-year relationship in April 2021 — posted a photo on Instagram with the caption, “What a performance! #SBLVI”.
Affleck and Lopez were making headlines before the exes arrived separately at the Super Bowl over director Affleck’s early Valentine’s gift.
“I’m going to show you something really unique and intimate that I only share with my inner circle,” Lopez informed her fans via her On The JLo newsletter on Friday, February 11, accompanied by a link to a remixed version of her “On My Way” single. “It’s an early Valentine’s Day present from Ben.”
“I was ready to go through anything for them,” she later wrote in a newsletter note. “It made me think about the journey of genuine love, its unforeseen twists and turns, and how when it’s true, it can last forever. This genuinely melted my heart.”
The video features the pair from the action film, Last Duel, pulling together an array of throwback clips dating back to 2002, when they were previously engaged. Lopez’s original music video for the song was also included in the compilation.
The music video, which was created by Santiago Salviche and directed by him, debuted in December 2021 ahead of the album’s release.
Lopez portrays pop star Kat Valdez in the romantic comedy, which follows her as she discovers her fiancé Bastian (Maluma) has been caught cheating ahead of their planned wedding on stage.
She whisks single father Charlie Gilbert (Owen Wilson) away from his seat and tells him she’ll marry him instead in order to avoid embarrassment before a large audience. The romantic comedy follows the unlikely pairing’s public relationship in this weekend’s release.
In her real life, Lopez — who is married to former husband Marc Anthony and has 13-year-old twins Max and Emme with him — reconnected with Good Will Hunting star Matt Damon last year after her split from Rodriguez.
