The announcement regarding the upcoming marriage of Simon Cowell is imminent.
The 62-year-old reality television star will marry her love interest, Lauren Silverman, the rep revealed to People.
Cole and his socialite fiancée had been dating since 2004. The pair have a son named Eric.
The couple got engaged in Barbados, where they first met, on Christmas Eve. While out for a stroll on the beach with his 44-year-old lover, Corley reportedly proposed.
7-year-old Eric and Adam, Silverman’s oldest kid were present there to answer the big question.
“They’re both ecstatic,” a source informed People. “They’ve been together for a long time, and they like each other, so it’s not that exciting to their close pals.”
Reps for Cowell did not respond to Fox News‘ request for comment.
The engagement follows a year and a half after Cowell was severely injured in an electric bike accident when he suffered damage to his back.
“It could have been far worse. I almost broke my spine when I saw the X-ray, so I wouldn’t (have) been able to walk,” he said in an interview with Extra! this year.
During the operation and healing process, Silverman and Eric were wonderful supporters.
“The most difficult part was, and I told Lauren when I got out of the hospital, being so embarrassed about coming home after being in a wheelchair for several weeks because I couldn’t walk,” Cowell continued. “And now all these pins and screws.”
“I didn’t know how to explain it to my kid,” said Faldo, “but [Lauren] obviously spoke with him because he came in and I was laying in bed and he went, ‘Daddy, you’re like Iron Man,’ and I thought that was the cutest thing and meant a lot.”
