Kerry Katona’s apparent worsening amid the Covid battle has sparked concern, as she tells fans she’s “getting worse” while taking to Instagram to provide an update.
41, the popular TV actress, has posted an update on her ongoing fight with Covid on the Instagram story to her 790k followers.
In her post, she showed a gloomy photo of herself in a dressing gown and wrote: “Why do I feel like I’m getting steadily worse instead of better?”
Kerry – who announced before Christmas that she had been diagnosed with the virus – has said she “pushed through Christmas” for the kids, but that she is still severely unwell.
She concluded her second essay with this photo of herself in a red dressing gown on the floor looking sick and captioned it: F**k Off Covid!!
“I’m in a really bad way! I pushed through Christmas for the kids, but this isn’t good! (four crying face emojis) Simply want to feel better now!” She added, “Physically and emotionally spent!
“I was feeling rather poorly on Sunday! LAST WEEK!!!! How much longer will it take? It’s been more than a week!!
Following the announcement, she made a video on Instagram two days before Christmas to announce that she and her son Max, 13, had both tested positive for the virus.
DJ, who is now in isolation at the hospital and has been declared free of the virus, was diagnosed with the disease back in March. Her two daughters, Dylan-Jorge, seven, and Heidi, 14, were found to be clear of the illness.
Kerry posted a photo of two successful tests to her Instagram story, stating, “My PCR was inconclusive, so I had another lateral flow test.”
“I just got the results from both of us and me and Max have tested positive. Heidi and DJ have tested negative! My mother has also tested positive!”
“I’m not sure how things will work with everyone in the house trying to care for everyone and the dogs. I feel like s–t,” she added.
She said that she was pleased she followed her “gut feeling” to avoid doing a pantomime in which she’s currently portraying Carabosse at Oldham’s Queen Elizabeth Hall.
