With that said, this time around WhatsApp is introducing another new feature that will let WhatsApp users draw on their profile pics. According to a popular WhatsApp news source, WABetaInfo, the company is developing a drawing editor tool.
This drawing will not allow drawing on the picture but do editing as well. People can improve their pictures using blur, contrast, and many more such settings. They can adjust blurriness in their choice of pics. The blur setting is very much useful for sensitive screenshots when the sender doesn’t want to show every detail or just wants to draw receivers to focus on a specific part of the image.
If they want they can even write on it too just like Instagram. Moreover, the new feature will also apply to video editing. Giving all these editing features inside the app has its perks. The very first is that WhatsApp users won’t need third-party apps anymore for minor edits on pictures.
As per WABetaInfo’s WhatsApp tracker, the instant messaging platform is planning to add different kinds of pencils for drawing on your images and videos. Although the drawing editor feature is under development, it is still exciting even though not much is known about it. As of now, it is evident that there are at least 3 different pencils and WhatsApp is looking to introduce more pencils as well as updates in the future.
Users will get to customize their three pencils according to preferred sizes and colors. Right now, the online message platform has not revealed any hefty details around the new tool or its release date. Previously, WhatsApp gave attention to developing voice note features over windows. But this time, the focus has now moved to draw and edit features too. The new draw editor feature will be available in the coming days for iOS and Android users.
