TikTok is Currently Testing a “Watch History” Feature, which will allow you to Look up the Video you Watched

The video platform, TikTok, is conducting a test on a "Watch History" feature to allow users to look up the videos they watched.

The video-sharing platform, TikTok, is testing a “Watch History” function that should save you the aggravation of searching for that video you believe you saved, according to TechCrunch.

It appears that TikTok may finally provide us with a simple approach to browsing through a chronology of the videos we’ve seen on the platform.

Matt Navarra retweeted findings from Twitter user Hammod Oh, who is known for discovering upcoming features on different social media platforms.

The screenshot from ‘Oh’ indicates that the “Watch History” option will be included under the “Content and Activity” category of your settings.

Until now, there is still uncertainty about what the Watch History page will look like and how it will aggregate your prior watched videos.

The Verge reached out to TikTok about the possibility of such a function, but no response was received.

The lack of a watch history button has led most of us to look for workarounds, and while there are some methods to accomplish this, they aren’t as simple as tapping a Watch History button.

The first process is to filter your search results by videos you’ve watched, while the second entails downloading all of your TikTok data just to find a single video. If TikTok delivers on this function, it will save us a lot of time.
