“And Just Like That” upcoming season finale will not feature the return of Chris Noth.
According to sources, a reunion scene between his “Sex and the City” character Mr. Big and his flame, Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie has been cut.
In the series’ first episode, Noth’s character suffered a heart attack following a Peloton session.
According to leaked set photos, he was supposed to appear in a dream-like fantasy sequence on Paris’ Pont des Arts bridge, where Carrie dispersed his ashes.
Following the sexual assault allegations against him in December, the actor was dropped from his regular part on the CBS series “The Equalizer.”
HBO Max had no comment when contacted by Fox News Digital for information.
On Wednesday, industry sources reported that the show’s producers were hesitant to let Noth’s appearance on the series air, since his alleged actions have been deemed serious enough to warrant legal action. Noth has rejected the charges.
“The allegations made against me by individuals I met years, if not decades, ago are completely false,” a statement released previously by Noth’s representatives to Fox News Digital read.”
“These incidents might’ve happened 30 years ago or 30 days ago — and no indicates no, regardless of the time frame — I didn’t cross that line. The encounters were voluntary.”
“Sex and the City” actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis spoke out on behalf of the women who claimed Noth sexually assaulted them at the time.
“We are shocked and disturbed to hear the allegations against Chris Noth,” their joint statement, published on Instagram, read. “We applaud the women who have come forward and detailed their traumatic experiences.
“We understand that it must be a very tough thing to do, and we commend them for it,” they added.
