Alec Baldwin’s brother, Daniel Baldwin, has strongly defended the actor after the deadly shooting incident on the “Rust” movie set last month.<\/p>\n

Actor Alec unintentionally killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins<\/a> and injured the movie director Joel Souza with a “prop” gun that was loaded with live rounds.<\/p>\n

Alec claims he thought he was holding a “cold gun,” implying there was no ammunition in it.<\/p>\n

Currently, his brother Daniel has come into his defense in an Instagram Live interview on The Domenick Nati Show<\/a>. He said Alec didn’t kill the deceased intentionally and he should not be blamed for the deadly incident.<\/p>\n

He stated that his brother shouldn’t be scolded since he was informed by the film’s assistant director Dave Halls that the gun he was given had been referred to as a “cold gun.”<\/p>\n

Daniel said the actor’s job is to do the acting. There are several protocols that have already been made public and known in this instance, all of which exonerate Alec of any guilt.<\/p>\n

According to Daniel, Halls made the announcement to the set. And for announcing that one should have been confirming an empty weapon handed to a person. It is unclear what they did on the movie set.<\/p>\n

Daniel added that the announcement absolves Alec of any wrongdoing. The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office<\/a> is continuing its investigation, but head electrician Rust Serge Svetnoy submitted a complaint.<\/p>\n

He stated that he would sue for general negligence on set, including by production, the financiers, Alec Baldwin, armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed, Dave Halls, property master Sarah Zachry, armorer mentor Seth Kenny and others.<\/p>\n

Each of them, as well as their agents, principals, and employers, was responsible for this accident since their negligent actions and omissions caused it.<\/p>\n
