David Arquette has revealed his working experience with Courteney Cox in the film, ‘Scream’. Arquette showed his presence on Wednesday’s episode of “Late Night with Seth Meyers.“
During the show, the actor thanked “Scream” director Wes Craven and he revealed he “got a baby out of it.”
“Thank god for Wes Craven because I got a kid out of it. I’m not referring to Wes Craven, thank goodness! Yes, Courteney Cox!”
Meyers noted that it must be “nice” for Arquette to remember how long ago filming “Scream” was due to his daughter being near the same age as the film.
“There are a few ‘Screams’ in there,” he added. “We were falling in love, the first ‘Scream,'” he continued. “She despised me, the second ‘Scream.'”
In 1996, Cox and Arquette met on the set of the first “Scream” film. The pair began dating later that year and eventually married in 1999. The pair ended their relationship in 2010, and the divorce was finalized in 2013.
In 2004, Cox and Arquette became parents to Coco. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in March, Arquette discussed Coco’s own career path into the entertainment industry.
“She’s a fantastic singer, and she adores acting,” Arquette said while co-hosting for the outlet at the time.
“It’s getting more serious now, and you know, the performances are becoming more polished,” he continued. “So it’s great to watch.”
Cox is currently dating her boyfriend, Johnny McDaid, and Arquette married his lover Christina McLarty in 2015. The pair has two children together.
