With a 3D Teaser Trailer Shown During CinemaCon, “Avatar 2” has a Title

Disney on Wednesday showcased the first trailer for the sequel of the film, Avatar. James Cameron’s sequel film has also received the official title.

Now referred to as Avatar: The Way of Water, the 20th Century Studios sci-fi drama will be released overseas on December 14 and will arrive in North America on December 16.

From New Zealand, producer Jon Landau arrived to make the Disney presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

“One of Jim Cameron’s strengths is that he consistently incorporates universal, relatable themes into his stories.” “He weaves those themes into them always, and they’re all universal and relatable.”

“The Sully family will be at the center of each of the four sequels. Each narrative will have a unique beginning and end,” he continued. “There will be a “fulfilling resolution to each film, but when looked at as a whole, the trip across all four will result in an expanded epic saga.”

“The adventure across all four films will form a linked narrative,” added Landau. “To fulfill our objectives, we’ll need a solid collaboration with you and the studio…

In Wellington, New Zealand, where he’s filming, Macdonald beamed in to express his condolences for the exhibition on the industry’s challenges during the epidemic.

“I just want you to know that I and Jon are here to work with you,” he stated at the event. “Delivering content that is a must-see experience at the cinema is the greatest way to do it.”

“I’m hard at work putting the finishing touches on the film,” he added. Moreover, he added that the new films are crossing limits due to high frame rates, higher resolution 3D, and a greater display of reality in their visual effects.

“I wanted our return to Pandora to be something truly unique,” says executive producer Jim Schwarting. Every shot is designed for the biggest screen, highest resolution, and most immersive 3D possible. I believe we did it.”

The trailer will be shown in cinemas exclusively, with Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which comes out next week — beginning May 4 internationally and May 6 domestically.

That earned a round of applause in the chamber. The Avatar 2 trailer will debut online a week later.
