After a lot of speculations Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal and actress Katrina Kaif have tied the knot on Thursday in Rajasthan. The Bollywood couple has been dating for three years and has finally decided to take it to the next level.
Katrina and Vicky took to Instagram to share their happy moments with their fans where they sought blessings from everyone. In the photos, the couple was seen engaging in Hindu marriage rituals as they proceed on their new journey.
Katrina and Vicky shared the same caption and wrote, “Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together.”
Katrina and Vicky have chosen to wear clothing designed by the famous Indian designer, Sabyasachi, for their D-day.
Katrina has opted to wear a classic red lehenga like every other Indian Bride. The handwoven Matka silk red bridal lehenga has all-over fine tilla work and embroidered zardozi velvet borders. The bride has also paid homage to Vicky’s Punjabi roots by opting for a veil that has custom-trimmed handmade kiran in hand-beaten silver electroplated in gold.
For the jewelry part, she paired the outfit with a set of uncut diamonds in 22k gold having hand-strung pearls.
While Vicky has opted for an ivory silk sherwani having intricate marori embroidery and gold plated Bengal Tiger buttons. He paired it up with a silk kurta and churidar. He carried a tussar georgette shawl having zari marori embroidered borders.
For the accessories part, the groom has chosen to wear a gold benarasi silk tissue safa and paired it up with a handcrafted kilangi. Vicky also wore a studded statement necklace with all-over emerald, quartz, tourmalines, and rose-cut diamonds on 18k gold.
On the other hand, netizens have their eyes stuck on the engagement rings of the lovebirds. The Tiger 3 actress was seen wearing a Princess Diana-inspired sapphire-diamond ring from Tiffany & Co. Soleste collection. While Vicky was seen wearing a classic platinum band from the same brand.
The duo has chosen an exotic palace, Six senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, for their wedding to be placed. Before the main event, they made sure that paparazzi and trespassers cannot meddle in their private ceremony. Tight securities, a no-gadget clause for the guests, personal QR-codes in the invitations have made their wedding unique in its special way.
On the work front, Katrina Kaif started her Bollywood journey back in 2003 with Boom. After that, she has come a long way and paved her path to the list of Bollywood’s successful actresses. Katrina was last seen in Tiger 3 with Salman Khan.
