Simon Konecki, the ex-husband of singing megastar Adele, has been seen for the first time since their split.
Many believed Adele and Simon married in 2016, but she just revealed that they didn’t marry until 2018 before splitting up in 2019.
On Friday, Simon was seen out and about in Los Angeles with a shaggy beard and dirty clothes.
After climbing into his vehicle, the 47-year-old was observed strolling around in a beige cap and sunglasses.
In a blue t-shirt and loose jogging trousers, he maintained his casual air.
During her acceptance speech for Album of the Year at the BRIT Awards this week, Adele praised Simon.
“This record is dedicated to my son and Simon, his father,” she began. “I’d like to dedicate it to my kid and Simon, his father. This is the album of our entire lives, not just mine. My son has been wonderful and polite and tolerant with me over the last few years.”
Adele, a Tottenham native, opened up to Greg James on Friday’s Radio One about forming heated disputes with the father of her child when discussing what compelled her to write Easy On Me.
The singing celebrity told Britain’s Simon when she had a long conversation with radio DJ Greg that she was “confrontational” when working with charity bosses.
“It was the first song I wrote for the album, going all the way back to the beginning of 2019,” said the award-winning singer.
She said, “As I was writing this song, I was making decisions in my life that have been widely reported of late.
“It was sort of a meeting-initiating thing, not in the instance of my son’s father – or a huge bloody quarrel, which I’m sure I started. ”
“It was sort of a discussion-starting mechanism – not in the case of my son’s father, or a huge bloody altercation, which I tend to start. ”
After Simon moved out, Adele said: “I was guilty of starting conflicts with my son’s father after the divorce with others.”
