Jenna Jameson has Confirmed that she has Guillain-Barré Syndrome, which Left her Unable to Walk

Jenna Jameson suffers from the autoimmune ailment, Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Long-term nerve damage can occur as a result of the autoimmune disease.

Jenna Jameson has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome.

On Monday, the 47-year-old model and former porn actress posted an update on her health issues from a hospital in Hawaii on Instagram.

In a video the celebrity posted on Instagram, the actress addressed the camera.

“Hey there, what’s up?” she began. “I wanted to touch base with everyone,” she continued. “We’ve obtained some answers for you. I’m going through a condition called Guillain-Barré.”

She then thanked her followers for their continued support throughout her time at the hospital facility.

Guillain-Barré syndrome is a “rare, autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the nerves, causing muscular weakness and sometimes paralysis,” according to the CDC.

Symptoms can persist for weeks, months, or even years. While most people recover fully, some have persistent nerve damage.

Later in the day, she made another video from her hospital bed, which was simply labeled “infusion.”

“We’re just trying to get better,” she added. In her video’s caption, Jameson claims that doctors “have begun my IVIG therapy,” or have started her intravenous immune globulin treatment.

She said she would most likely be in the hospital until the therapy is completed.

“I’m happy to announce that I did not receive the jab or any other vaccination,” she added, in a seemingly sincere message.

On Saturday, Lior Bitton, the star’s spouse, posted a video on Instagram in which she explained his wife’s condition on her third day in the hospital. He added that she’d been examined with CT and MRI scans, as well as a spinal tap test.

He described his wife’s condition as “not feeling so good,” noting that she had been vomiting for a few weeks before being admitted to the hospital.

“She came back home and could not walk. Her leg muscles were severely debilitated,” Bitton went on to explain.

“She wasn’t able to go to the bathroom on her own. She would fall on the way back or to the toilet, and I’d have to lift her up and put her in bed.”

Her partner said within two days that Jameson was unable to walk unassisted, even with a walker. Bitton then took her back to the hospital, where they began doing tests on her.
