Jennifer Aniston Confesses how she went through the Darkest times in front of the World

After she finished filming "Friends," Jennifer Aniston said her 'expectations' for her personal life changed in an 'unexpected' way.

During a recent interview, Jennifer Aniston revealed that she had gone through “really dark stuff” in front of the whole world. After she finished shooting for “Friends,” 52-year-old Jennifer Aniston acknowledged that her personal life expectations had changed “overnight.”

“The job was one thing. I had no idea what would happen, and that has been nothing but wonderful for me. It was more personal concerns like the shape-shifting kind,” Aniston said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter’s most recent cover story.

“That was when I realized that we all knew what the future would be like, and we’d go hunker down and focus on something or other, then everything just changed overnight, and that was it.”

“However, if you can look at life’s highs and lows in that light, everything is a blessing,” she continued. “And if nothing else had happened, I would never have been the woman I am today.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, when asked how she kept her composure in front of the press instead of having a public breakdown, she cited her late mother.

“I also grew up seeing someone sit comfortably in victimhood, and I didn’t like how it looked,” Aniston continued. “I knew that this person was providing me a role model to avoid. I will never be that.”

“I think it’s harmful, and it destroys your insides and soul. And, listen, is going public with sordid stuff in front of the whole world even a sliver of pain? Yes, it’s an annoyance to have to go through such negativity openly in front of the world, but everything is relative.”

Jennifer Aniston filmed “The Break-Up” in 2006, just a year after her marriage to Brad Pitt came to an end. The pair were married from 2000 to 2005. Pitt went on to date actress Angelina Jolie, who he met while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”

While Pitt was still married to Aniston, the two stars denied ever meeting one another. The attention paid to her personal life, on the other hand, had an impact on how she was perceived in the workplace.

The actress claimed she used to take things “very personally” and called the focus on her lack of children “cruel and nasty.”
