Jessica Simpson claims she made the Decision to go Clean Because she could no Longer hear her ‘Inner Voice,’ and was ‘lost Without her’

On Nov. 1, Simpson marked four years of sobriety.

Jessica Simpson is ready to talk about her experience after four years of sobriety.

In a new cover story with Entrepreneur, Simpson explained that her subconscious played an important part in both her personal and professional lives.

Simpson expressed that she gave up on drinking alcohol because she found it difficult to hear her own voice. And she said she felt lost without her.

The “A Public Affair” singer shared a personal story from her book, “Open Book”. She then referred to a difficult moment in her life that she wrote about in her autobiography.

She recalled a party during which she had a few drinks and was unable to dress her children. Birdie, Maxwell, and Ace are the names of Simpson’s three children.

Simpson expressed in her memoir that she was really frightening and ashamed for letting her children see her in that condition and shape. And she said she didn’t remember who helped her children get into their costumes that night.

The celebrity maintained sobriety since that night, marking four years of sobriety on Nov. 1. She acknowledged the significant moment by telling her Instagram followers on that day.

“This individual on November 1, 2017, is a strange version of myself in the early hours of that day,” she posted.

“I had so much self-discovery to unlock and explore. I knew in this very second that I would allow myself to reclaim my light, overcome my internal conflict of self-respect, and brave this world with piercing clarity,” she continued.
