Actress Sandra Bullock has decided to take a break from her acting career. She has taken the decision so as to devote more time to her children and family.

The actress is a mom to 12-year-old son Louis Bullock and a 10-year-old daughter Laila Bullock. The Oscar-winning actress told Entertainment Tonight about her plans to give her acting a break to be present at a place where she feels more happiness.

“I take my work seriously at home,” she added. “And I just want to be with my kids and family 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the next while. That’s where I’ll be for the immediate future.”

The Hollywood celebrity jokingly said her entire focus would be on servicing her family and kids during this Hollywood hiatus.

“All the parents know me as the crazy lady with the epidemic,” Bullock added. “They know their children will return to COVID if they’ve been to our home.”

In 2010, and again in 2015, the Ocean’s Eight star brought home Louis and Laila, who had previously been housed by other families. She divides her time between caregiving and parenting duties with her live-in lover, Bryan Randall.

She discussed parenthood with Jada Pinkett Smith in a recent episode of Red Table Talk.

“During her guest appearance, she stated, per E! News: “I would want my children to be like [Randall] because he’s the example I’d want them to follow.“I don’t always agree with him, and he doesn’t always agree with me, but even when I’m not in agreement, he is an example. … He’s the perfect fit for this role.”

She also discussed her and her husband’s adoption experiences with their children.

“It makes me really emotional, but I’m certain that my mother brought me these children,” she said. “I found out about both babies while staying in the town where Helga Meyer was buried.”

“I had a feeling I would become a mother. I didn’t expect to become a mother at such a young age…. But when society is breathing down your neck and telling you that you have to do things in this manner, it’s hard.”
