Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner, and More Pay Tribute to the Victims of the "Mass Casualty Incident" at Astroworld Festival - Poxolo.com

Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner, and More Pay Tribute to the Victims of the “Mass Casualty Incident” at Astroworld Festival

Tribute. At least eight fans died and several others were injured after a crowd surge at Travis Scott’s 2021 Astroworld Festival following the deadly accident.

Several of the music festival’s performers and attendees have expressed their support for the victims and their families in light of the ongoing investigation into the Friday, November 5, tragedy.

“All I want to do is send out prayers for those who perished last night,” the “Sicko Mode” rapper, 30, sobbed during a string of Instagram Story postings on Saturday.

“You know, my followers really mean the world to me, and I always want to leave them with a good memory and any opportunity I get to stop the show and assist them in obtaining the assistance they require, I’d just stop the show and help them get the help they need. The severity of the problem was something I could never have.

“I think everybody should continue to pray,” he wrote. “To be honest, I’m just devastated and could never conceive anything like this happening.”

At the time, Kylie Jenner was at her boyfriend’s show, which she posted a video of on Instagram Story. She shares her prayers on the social media platform for those affected due to the Astroworld event.

On Sunday, November 7, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum wrote on Twitter, “Travis and I are devastated.”

My condolences go out to all who lost their lives, were wounded, or were otherwise affected by yesterday’s events.

The audience rushed the stage during the “Out West” act’s performance at Houston’s NRG Park, resulting in a major catastrophe.

“This is a sad night for the city of Houston,” Fire Chief Samuel Peña said during a news conference on Saturday.

“We have at least eight confirmed fatalities right now, and we have scores of people who have been injured as a result of this occurrence.”

According to Peña, the crowd had “commenced to compress toward the front of the stage,” causing panic and injuries, by 9:00 p.m. When you throw a party at someplace where there are no bars or clubs, it’s easy for people to get carried away.

According to one source, the “Escape Plan” crooner had paused his performance “three times” during the show to inquire about what was going on.

Astroworld Festival, which was supposed to feature two nights of performances, has shelved its Saturday lineups amid the ongoing inquiry.
