During a recent appearance on Jeff Lewis’ SiriusXM program, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Vicki Gunvalson revealed she had battled against cancer.
“I had cancer! My entire uterus was removed,” she informed fellow Bravo star Lewis on the program.
During the interview, Vicki Gunvalson did not reveal her health issues or cancer diagnosis elaborately, and Lewis didn’t ask any more questions on this subject.
The subject was also avoided by former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Judge.
However, Gunvalson revealed Celebuzz! about his diagnosis of uterine cancer around two years ago. She even admitted to sharing the news on Lewis’ podcast.
I had to have a non-elective full hysterectomy as a result of the diagnosis.
“I was lucky to discover it early since I always keep up with my yearly examination timetable,” she continued, emphasizing the importance of women getting their annual checkups.
She said she wants to move forward and doesn’t want to fret over this same topic. Gunvalson said she had been fortunate to discover it earlier and it helped her start & complete the procedure successfully.
Gunvalson even expressed her gratitude toward people who supported her during her battle with cancer. She said her body is fine now and she added everyone should treat their body fully.
Gunvalson said everyone should go for annual body appointments and take proper care of their health.
During her appearance on Larry’s show, Vicki Gunvalson revealed she was going through a “difficult time.”
Gunvalson said she is having a tough time right now and she doesn’t want anyone bringing her down.
She may be alluding to the breakup of her two-year relationship with Steve Lodge. In September, Gunvalson announced her divorce from Steve Lodge.
“It’s time for Steve and me to go our separate ways or move ahead, and we’ve mutually agreed to do so. We’ll be moving on,” she wrote on Instagram at the moment.
We had a disagreement and we’re going in different directions. It’s not because of anything wrong on either side; it’s just that we’re going on independent paths.
“I wish him the best of luck and happiness, and he has wished the same for me,” she added.
After dating for three years, Steve and Vicki announced their engagement in 2019.
However, the pair were set to marry in April 2020, but due to the coronavirus epidemic, they postponed their wedding.
