Sam Mitchell’s Return to EastEnders was Previewed in a first look, with Sam Mitchell “Reigniting old feuds”

EastEnders’ Sam Mitchell has returned to the show and the first look of the celebrity is out now. The news has come after the news actress Kim Medcalf would be reprising her role on the BBC soap.

The BBC soap has published new sneak peek images of Sam Mitchell’s return to Walford later this month.

After nearly 17 years, actress Kim Medcalf has returned to the show as a young woman. Images from new spoilers reveal the character at home again.

She’s been known to attract conflict, and it won’t be long before she “reignites old rivalries” in the marketplace.

Danniella Westbrook has played Sam since 2016 in Walford, but she previously reprised her role in 2009, when the actress was still alive.

Kim is currently back in the role, and she’s going to Albert Square soon – but the precise nature of Sam’s comeback is being kept locked.

It has now been revealed that Sam will return home to Walford on Tuesday, April 19, amid her brother Phil Mitchell, is being incarcerated.

The tv celebrity will make his return, after being away for two years, to the place of her son Ricky and his father Jack Branning.

The last time Sam was on the show, her mother Peggy Mitchell, played by late soap legend Dame Barbara Windsor, died in 2016.

Now, it’s unclear what brought her back and what she has in store, but there will be drama ahead.

With Sam set to “ruffle some feathers,” the soap has teased that trouble will come her way, with it implying there may be a reason for her return.

After nearly 20 years away from Walford, Kim recently discussed her comeback with soap. She called it an “amazing” opportunity to play Sam again.

The BBC’s head of continuing drama Kate Oates said of the move, “bringing Sam back into the family fold has been a long-held ambition of mine. “The Mitchells are one of the most famous families in soap, and I’ve wanted to bring Sam back for a long time.
