The Cast of the "Teen Wolf" revival film doesn't Include Dylan O'Brien or Tyler Hoechlin, but Crystal Reed is back! - Poxolo.com

The Cast of the “Teen Wolf” revival film doesn’t Include Dylan O’Brien or Tyler Hoechlin, but Crystal Reed is back!

Although Dylan O'Brien and Tyler Hoechlin aren't in the cast of the "Teen Wolf" revival movie, Crystal Reed is back!

The announcement for the cast of the Teen Wolf revival movie has been made. However, it doesn’t include Dylan O’Brien and Tyler Hoechlin. But it is certain that Crystal Reed will make his comeback into the cast.

Tyler Posey (Scott McCall), along with original cast members Holland Roden (Lydia Martin), Melissa Ponzio (Melissa McCall), Seth Gilliam (Dr. Alan Deaton) and Linden Ashby (Sheriff Noah Stilinski) will reprise their roles in the fourth installment of the Paranormal Plus franchise.

Shelley Hennig (Malia Tate), Orny Adams (Coach Bobby Finstock), Dylan Sprayberry (Liam Dunbar) and Colton Haynes (Jackson Whittemore) will also be returning following their roles in the original series from 2011 to 2017 on MTV.

Crystal Reed, who played Allison Argent in the Season 3 finale of Teen Wolf, was an unexpected addition to the list.

There may be some fan favorites who won’t be returning, including Dylan O’Brien (Stiles Stilinski), Arden Cho (Kira Yukimura), and Tyler Hoechlin (Derek Hale), all of whom have been notably dropped from the cast. After season 5, Cho, 36, was written out of the show.

Following the announcement of the Teen Wolf revival film in September 2021, Ashby, 61, hinted that the character’s son would return.

“Yup,” Ashby wrote in response to a fan who inquired whether the Melrose alum and O’Brien would both be returning.

The Deepwater Horizon star has taken a break from playing Stiles in season 7. After a stunt-related accident delayed the filming schedule, O’Brien, 30, filmed fewer sequences to concentrate on the final Maze Runner film in the trilogy.

But, after leaving the show, he returned to conclude his character’s tale on MTV.

Following the conclusion of Teen Wolf, Cappe also stated that there was no plan for him to appear in the final season.

“I wasn’t able to be a part of the last 10 [episodes] or be contracted for them,” he said in July 2017. “It was really essential to me that I return and make sure Stiles received the proper conclusion.”

Bill O’Brien said he was grateful to be able to finish the show that had such a huge influence on his career.

“It was my first time ever, so it would’ve been difficult to just not be a part of something that was still going on for me,” he recalled. “All voluntary. It was all about the heart.”

“I haven’t heard anything about this, but I can promise you that I probably won’t be in it,” the Love and Monsters actor said when asked whether he would return if there was ever a revival.

However, by October 2020, he had changed his mind. “I’d be delighted to do anything at all,” O’Brien told Variety’s “The Big Ticket” podcast at the time. “We’ll see each other again for something eventually.”

Even though he was familiar with where Ben’s closest buddy would be in the future, O’Brien considered it. “It’s so uninteresting, but I’d like to believe he becomes Sheriff,” said the actor.

“That he’s now Sheriff, but not in a police car. That’s fantastic to me. That seems accurate.”

Since his turn on Teen Wolf, Dylan O’Brien has lent his voice to Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Infinite, Flashback, and he made headlines late last year opposite Sadie Sink in Taylor Swift’s All Too Well: The Short Film.

Meanwhile, Hoechlin played Superman in The CW’s Supergirl. He later got his own show on the network, Superman & Lois, playing Lois Lane opposite Elizabeth Tulloch.
